I know in Unity Connection 8.5 the DirSync service only runs on PUB, lost your pub you lose LDAP auth from my experience.

What about his question:

I would be interested in the answer.

IMS is actually a component in each service that uses directory lookups. This means CTI and Tomcat at a minimum, on each node, will have their own IMS and do their own ldap operations. You should be able to confirm this with packet captures and/or logs at the ldap server to see where the queries are coming from.

Hello everyone

Looking at the schema in the link below and I was wondering if IMS exists only in the Publisher or in every Subscriber...

I need to know if loosing the Publisher implies the loss of LDAP Authentication.

Thanks for any input.

Regards,
Ovidiu
