Yes they are running 8.5 presence but when they run jabber it is ref
CSFMIKEXXXXX soft the soft phone and it should be CSFMXXXXXX

CSF is correct for 8x CUPS clients, don¹t use UDP was what TAC told me. For
example CUPS 7.x clients be upgraded to 8x should be migrated to CSF
devices.
 
Not exactly sure on Jabber for MAC.

Using Jabber for mac and the client is reporting that the CSFXXXXX is not
correct and showing another name. I suspect that they have renamed the
device name to the correct one and the call manager is still referencing the
original name. Is there a way of confirming this ?
