Error Mismatch means you've added them to CUCM as the wrong device type. Check the back of the phones to see if they have a gig port or not. Note the device type (7970G-GE or normal) in CCMAdmin to make sure it matches the phone.

And what is version on the server (device>device settings>device default). There are a couple cases where you need to go through multiple updates to get to the current?
