[cisco-voip] IPCC Wallboard

FYI - there is some documentation buried somewhere on the Cisco developer
website that warns against using real-time queries of this nature - there
will be a performance limit somewhere (it doesn't say, from memory). The
recommendation is to use the CTI API to get this information but that
requires a significant rewrite of the code that retrieves data from CCX.
We ended up going down the CTI API path - and it is very good - but it
doesn't have access to the databases as per the example below. You can still
get pretty much everything you need for a wallboard.

Is this the most up-to-date method to migrate/configure this over to version
8.6?

We use http://sourceforge.net/projects/ipccwallboard/, you can find a lot of
information at the cisco user forums about this. Please note read all of the
information there, some is old, documentation should be updated for 8.6. We
run it now with no issues.
It is a ASP script that runs on IIS and is free.

We are currently using IPCC Wallboard software to display real time stats.
We are in the process of upgrading from 7.X to 8.6 and I know that the
software will break. Does anyone know if there is an updated version of IPCC
that works with 8.6? On of our call centers uses this information heavily
and not having a wallboard available to them will be a huge impact on them.
If there is a way to just tell the database to connect to the Informix that
would work as well.
Thanks.
