Sigh, yeah that's what I figured, I looked through the ISO and at all the RPMs included and none of them were the ones I read that would give you management access to the ilo from the host os.

when last i checked we couldn't even do it from root. we had to power down the servers physically, disconnect power, let capacitors discharge, and then power back up. that's been a day or two (year or three?) though.

I know you can do it if you have a normal Windows or Linux server.
