[cisco-voip] Email login and logout on UCCX grayed out

We have a site where some users are experiencing grayed out email login and logout buttons on the UCCX agent. I've searched the web for some pointers as to where to look as I'm trying to avoid opening a case with Cisco without doing any type of troubleshooting but haven't found any useful documentation. Any pointers??
