Can you leave a message and then retrieve a message and hear the message that was left? It could be you have a voice path problem. Check all ACLs/firewalls, they are usually the problem .

Just a thought anyways.

Cooking with unix is easy. You just sed it and forget it.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Issue Unity Express

Hi All

I am hoping someone can assist

We have a customer with 3 SRST sites with the following modules installed ISM-SRE-300-K9 on these modules I am running Unity express 8.0.5.

My issue is when the user does the initial setup of their voicemail and go through all the steps it all works EXCEPT for when they record their name it seems to record but when you dial in you get dead air instead of their name when the MSG is played

e.g. “Sorry (Blank instead of name) is not available please leave a message after the tone”

Adrian
