[cisco-voip] IP Communicator EM status now working

We are currently working on a Recording project where we can only have a DN
on one phone in order to do the call recording.  The call recording
provider (CallRex) said to use Extension Mobility.  So on a 79xx phone EM
works and recordings work.  But on an IP Communicator client (8.6.1) EM
does not provide the line status.  Anyone seen t his before?  any ideas to
troubleshoot it?
CM is 7.1.5
