[cisco-voip] Callrouting based on Bearer-Cap

Hi all,
A customer wants to use a single extension, per employee, to use for phone calls and also for receiving personal faxes to a fax box on a fax server.
E.g. if employee A has phone-extension 1234, employee A should get phone calls on this extension, and also receive faxes on 1234.
From the customers perspective the routing of the call should work automatically. So the call must not be answered at any point before the system decides if it is a phone call or a fax call. For that reason the well-known fax_detect.tcl script will unfortunately be no option.
Unfortunately at this particular customer there is also no way to add a prefix to the phone number, to be used as fax number (e.g. phone=1234, fax=91234).
My only idea on this is to route the call based on the ISDN Bearer-Capability. If bearer-cap equals “Speech”, call will be routed to the phone. If bearer-cap equals “3.1 kHz”, call will be routed to the fax server. Even, if I know that this information might not be reliable 100%, I currently see no other chance to manage it.
Does anyone has a clue how to route calls based on the ISDN Bearer-Cap? Maybe via TCL / VXML Script?
Maybe anyone has some other clue how to get this work?
Looking forward to your feedback ☺
Best regards,
Sebastian Hoefer
