You'll probably want packet captures to prove the issue with the carrier.

If you're just looking to get live stats, you'll need to scrape the phone
webpages which displays real-time call stats.  CMR isn't written until
after the call is completed.

If you don't care about getting the info after the call is completed, you
can offload CDR/CMR by configuring a billing server (FTP server) then load
the data into a database and do whatever you want with it.

There's also a SOAP API for pulling CDR/CMR info-
