It just depends on what the DX80 is pointed at. If it's set to use the pub as TFTP server 1 then you're fine.

is it necessary to active tftp service on cucm-sub? or
when i point it to cucmpub. i succesfuly downloaded the file using tftp. but when i pointed it to cucmsub, the file was 0byte, not successfully downloaded (because tftp is not enabled on cucmsub.

You can try restarting TFTP. Also see if you can download the .loads file with a TFTP Client.

hi,
I am facing two issues with DX80.
1. First, video call is not successful with DX80. when i check self view (while not on call).there is nothing. so i think there can be issue with the camera. video call is enabled on Device > Phone and between video and phone device pool, the codec is G711, maximum session bit rate for video calls: 384kbps, maximum session bit rate for immersive video calls: 1024kbps
2. Second, is the upgrade (may be upgrade will resolve camera issue) . Currently DX80 is on android firmware and the required firmware is also android. I use ftp/sftp to upload the file on both cucm, on one cucm tftp service is active while on another cucm (sub), tftp is not active but i uploaded file on both of them and can see the .load file on tftp file management. but see the following status after upgrade (upgrade failed).
Registration: Registered with Cisco Unified Communications Manager CUCM02
IPv4 Address: x.x.x.x<http://10.163.167.14/>
Active Load ID: sipdx80.10-2-2-23
Inactive Load ID: INVALID
Download Status: Failed
Requested Load ID: sipdx80.10-2-4-99
Download Server: 10.163.72.100
Inactive Load Failure Reason File Not Found
Any suggestions.
