[cisco-voip] route pattern not dropping digits before sending to expressway

OK, so, to follow best practices, I've created a route list/route group configuration so I can send my route patterns to a route list rather than directly to the SIP trunk.

The route pattern, *78.XXXXXXXXX, is set to drop predot, and send to route list with a route group configuration which is set to pre-fix 999 and then send to trunk.

When I look at the search rules on the EXP-C, I am seeing, instead, 999*78123456789 instead of 999123456789 (using 123456789 as an example).

It's Friday before a long weekend - what have I missed? Why is my route pattern not dropping things all the way out?

This is weird.

Lelio
