[cisco-voip] Cisco 8851 shared line question

I think I have seen something similar. Where the last selected line is still in focus. Didn't really spend much time troubleshooting.

Would be interested in hearing what you find.

I do know there is a "simplified" UI available on the phone. I'm thinking of testing that. I don't like the list of recents appearing when I press new call. It looked nice on the 79XX's but not so much on these phones. In fact, everything looks so boxy on these things.

Hi there,

We have recently rolled out Cisco 8851 phones, and I am getting a problem where end users are lifting the phone handset to make a call and selecting a line other than their primary.

I have checked, and both the physical device and users UDP profile are set select primary line for calls.

Has anyone else experienced this issue at all?
