This is not because of the GBIC´s not being installed. I run several summits
with and without GBIC´s . There should be some better diagnostic that you
can run while it is running. Is the switch functioning ok?. Do you have the
latest software?
I have a summit24 that sometimes stop packetforwarding. All diagnostics are
OK. Very strange problem.... Anyone have suggestions?
