I just go myself new refurbished Extreme Blackdiamond 6808. Are there
any best practices how to test and diagnose hardware, besides running
'show diagnostic ..' ? What are things that needed to be carefully
checked?

Also is there any good/secure practice how to start configuration? Like

Thanks,
