Chuck:
Just a couple of things to check.
SX-FI424HF was supported starting 2.4.00. If you're running anything
earlier than 2.4, I would suggest upgrading.
Another possibility is that you have a IPv6 management module with an IPv4
line card (or vice-versa). Make sure it's an SX-FI12GM-4 and an SX-FI424HF
card, or SX-FI12GM-6 and SX-FI624HF. You can't mix and match IPv4 and IPv6
cards.
Another possibility is that the slot you're trying to use it in is bad. try
a different slot in the chassis.
The final possibility is that you have a defective card that needs
replacing. Get in touch with TAC and get it swapped out.
Good luck,

Subject: [f-nsp] SX-FI424HF not coming online
Hey everybody--
You guys are always so consistently helpful, I thought I'd try this one out.
I've got this SX-FI424HF I'm trying to bring up on an FI-SX-4 with an
SX-F112GM-4-PREM management card, and the thing won't even come online
(output below). I'm wondering if the mgmt card doesn't support the line
card. Secondly, it doesn't say "HF" anywhere on the blade. Is there any
way to confirm the HF status from the markings on the outside? Last
(obviously), does anyone have any insight or advice on the ouput below?

Thanks in advance, everybody. Your insight is always appreciated.
