[f-nsp] NI-MLX-10Gx4 shown as "Invalid Module" maybe due to very old code on lp whlile chassis is on 5.3

Hi Niels,
upgrading boot+monitor+lp image is exactly what I want.
The problem is that it doesn't work most probably because the mp cannot
communicate with lp and lp stays ins "CARD_STATE_REBOOT"
1. trying to sync
#lp sync 4
LP SYNC for Slot4: monitor image sync is timed out.
LP SYNC for Slot4: primary image sync is timed out.
LP SYNC for Slot4: No LP secondary image in MP's flash.
#Show module
S4: Invalid Module CARD_STATE_REBOOT 0 000c.dbe1.2f90
--> no success
2. trying to boot into interactive mode:
#lp boot system interactive 4
Reset slot 4
#Show mod
S4: Invalid Module CARD_STATE_REBOOT 0 000c.dbe1.2f90
#rconsole 4
Remote connection to LP slot 4 established
Press CTRL-X or type 'exit' to disconnect it
(does not show anything, cannot type) --> no success
3. manual update of boot image
t#copy tftp lp 1.2.3.4 05300e/XMR-MLX/Boot/InterfaceModule/xmlprm05300.bin
boot 4
.................................TFTP: Download to LP done.
File download to interface module is done (0 successful)
Do you have any other idea how I could fix this?
My nightmare is that I have to downgrade the whole chassis. Since I don't
know which exact version the lp runs this could be a long
downgrading-nightmare...
Gunther

Wilbur gives good advice; I'd like to add to it that the FPGA image comes in
play in packet forwarding, and you're running into issues where the
linecard's boot code cannot communicate with the management module.
Upgrade boot + monitor + LP image first, then do FPGAs after it has come up
(and reboot the LP again to activate the new FPGA image).
