SW7800 Modifications

In KB9JJA's Heathkit web page there is a link to a site where someone has
listed numerous modifications for the SW7800 SW Receiver. I was wondering
if anyone on the list has tried these mods and do they work? I'm
especially interested in the mods to the AGC and audio. I've never been
happy with the audio quality in this receiver and I'd really like to
improve it.
