I've found that you can get replacement coils (tho not the EXACT 'HEATH' ones, which
we'd all  like, I know!) from parts houses such as Newark. Sometimes they have onerous
minimums, but I've been able to buy single quantities from them in the past.  Allied
also has a pretty big catalog. Several of the coil mfgrs are still in business too
although you might have to go through a distributor to get the parts.

Of course.. there is ALWAYS the hamfest 'tech special' heath stuff. What I've done is to
buy junker heathkits even ifthey weren't the model I'm looking for. IF it had anything
to do with RF (transceiver, transmitter, receiver, etc.) odds are it used a coil thatyou
can pull and replace. Those coils are pretty generic to all the Heath RF gear.
