Hello All

I've been licensed for only 35 years. By some standards thats not very
long time considering some of the fellas have been doing this alot
longer. All this information on what to use and what not to use to clean
dirty contacts on electrical components. Has everyone forgotten that
the RF generating equipment that's the subject of all of this create RF
fields that are alledged to be bad fo our health ( according to the EPA
,FCC,PBA,Phd,PA and so on and so forth) on most frequencies above 80m!
Remember the cleaning solutions that contained carbon tetrachloride
(liver damage) ,petroleum based solutions(causing all makes and manners
of disease and pestilence) so now WD 40 kills wasps and hornets and is
very toxic as well. I've been using WD 40 for years on a Viking Valient
with no adervse effects. Its couldn't have been that toxic because it
still works!! Its also been used on many other things and they are all
working quite well as far as I know. I suppose if you don't keep your
face out of the over spray, it's like anythig else you might suffer some
ill effects. Just a little care always helps. This is just one of those
cituation where you just have to "name your own poison boys and
girls"!!!!!! Have a nice day all!
