Looking for Mr. Glo-Bar

There's a part used in SMPS (switchmode power supply) designs to limit
inrush current. I'm drawing a blank for a moment, but isn't it a NTC
thermistor? There is a company in Muskegon MI that makes them...but I can't
think of the name.

Glo-Bar...look up a company called Cesiwid. I may be making an invalid
association, but I believe they make the 'organic' resistors used in the
Cantenna. they might be what became of Glo-Bar, or I am just grouping them
in my mind because they are both 'weird' resistors.

>I need to find a part that Heath used in series with vacuum tube and pilot
lamp circuits. It is a power resistor called a "glo-bar" whose resistance
changes from a high value to a low value as it gets hot. The purpose of
this device is to limit the startup current in the filaments to prolong tube
life.

>I need a glo-bar rated at 880-100 ohms for a GR-91. The power rating is
not given, but looks like a 5 to 10 watt unit. Does anyone know a source
for this part?
