Coil Winders

Some years ago, perhaps in the range of 1960 - 1975, there were a lot of
coil winding devices sold in the Slot Car Racing market.  I still have
one made by Riggen Co.  They could be adapted to wind linear coils.

They were simply a piece of square aluminum rod intended to clamp in a
vise with a hand crank made from 1/4 inch rod inserted through it and a
fixture for whatever you wanted to wind.  Simple!
