Still, look at the cost of such a receiver with respect to the starter
radio like the S-38. Those big Navy regens were still issue, and not
released for surplus market. For it's time the S-38 became one of
those products that filled a hole in the market, and became one that
was copied by several other manufacturers. Please quit running my
S-38 down, you'll end up giving me an inferiority complex.
