Coming home tonight I had my handi-talkie on the passenger seat and was
listening to someone talking about how he sent his rig (ICOM, in this
case) to the West Coast Authorized Repair facility.  Other hams joined
the conversation requesting the address of this facility because they
also had problem radios.  They all sounded so forlorn.

Suddenly (strangely) it struck me!  Authorized Repair facility?
AUTHORIZED REPAIR FACILITY?!!??!?

Do you folks realize that we have more "Authorized Repair facilities"
that any other rig in the world??

Each one of us is an Authorized Repair facility.  We built em, didn't we?
 We fix 'em, don't we??
