Thanks Kees (K5BCQ),
   I've always wanted to put some kind of  "profound/humorous
declaration" after the signature line of my correspondences - like other
people do.  But I could never find anything that "hit the spot".  Now,
thanks to you, I have something I like. (I've reworded it slightly, see
below).

  Not only does it reflect my feelings for my beloved Griefkits (yes,
they're never TOTALLY troublefree) but it covers my sentiments for our
hobby as well - considering that with the advent of these "family
communicators", along with cell phones and palmtops, wireless
communications ain't what it used to be; the new equipment lacks
"personality" and the magic is gone.
