Sounds like you may need to adjust the clamp tube bias. It shuts down
the 6146 screen voltage if you do not have grid drive. 2 ma grid drive
is low. I can get 4 to 5 ma on mine. That is a little low too but I get
80 to 90 watts out on 10 meters. Try replacing the driver, buffer and
oscillator tubes. Try peaking the 10 meter buffer plate coil slug. There
are 2 slug tuned coils. One is for 15 meters and the other for 10
meters. Located to the right of the driver plate coil (as you face the
front of the rig). The 10 meter coil is the one closest to the driver
plate coil.
