Heath SB-200 on AM

Ken,

The SB200 was never intended to be used on AM.  It contains no
modulator.  It is a linear amplifier.  It merely amplifies the input
signal!  If you were to excite it with something like a DX35 series,
with screen grid modulation it would likely respond, but not with
straight plate modulated AM.
