 I've probably done about 200 transactions on eBay and fount that Ebay does
have a fraud system at http://crs.ebay.com/aw-cgi/ebayisapi.dll?crsstartpage
It works pretty well, I've had to use it a few times and got the item or my
money back each item. They will rattle their cage for ripping someone off.
You might give it a try.
 I ain't been successfully ripped off yet.

You do have some protection through eBay.  Look in to it- starting
with eBay sending a nastygram to the offending slug.
