Marty,

Actually the Collins archives are open to anyone, and contain some very
good info!  Now, for your problem.  Does the radio do the same thing
when you switch to USB?  The 75S series are really pretty
straightforward radios.  I might suggest you look at the LSB crystal and
be sure it is on frequency and the oscillator is putting out the proper
voltage.  If it is OK, I would then look at the LSB filter.
