Hi Ray...

I bought the CANADIAN (i.e. extended coverage) version of an HW-12A almost a
year ago, & plan to use it on trips, etc.

Even want to set it up poolside on the backyard patio table during vacation
time! Just waiting for warmer wx here in the Great White North...

Also got two HP-13 mobile supplies recently (of dubious repute!), for
possible mobile work---but I'm getting REALLY optimistic on that one! Hi

Like you, I suspect a LOT of these monobanders are being purchased simply
because they're such a neat little package! PERIOD. I know I certainly like
mine...
