Speaking of HR-10B. I acquired one from E-Bay a number of months back. It
looked in excellant condition but as they say looks can be deceiving.

I have checked all the tubes on a Heathkit Tube Tester that I also have
from many years ago. They all appear to test good. However the receiver
seems to overload very easily. I am only using a piece of thin speaker wire
run around my L Shaped living room as an antenna.

However after checking voltages at various points on the chassis I note
that just about every voltage is about 20% high. Maybe a good reason for
the overloaded signals.

I am not an electronics expert as I am just studying for a license but am I
missing something obvious that would cause a 20% increase in all voltages.
