Ray and all:

I don't know anything about a mod for the Micoder that involves a small
circuit board and any parts. I do know that many of us have simply picked
the voltage off one of the VCO assembly pins and used the "extra" wire in
the mike cord to get it to the microphone. I have had both of my radios
wired like this for many years, and it works fine.

If someone came up with a more involved mod, it is most certainly overkill.
