I don't think that will work. I have two manuals for the SB-102, the first
is 595-1058-02, the second is 595-1058-11, both have the same copyright date
(1970). I checked my heathkit manuals, about 30, and found that first set of
numbers denotes the type of equipment, I find that the 595 is found only on
manuals for amateur radio gear. The second denotes the item; 1050 the
SB-102, 1277 the HW-101, 1754 the HW-8, 1136 the SB-610, ect., ect..
Some of the manual have a print date, some don't.

Hi Bill,

One additioon to this I believe is the second set of numbers ie. 595-1056
would be the date of printing 10 month of 1956, this is the way all of
there part numbers works as far as I know.
