Apache

Hi Folks,
Have been restoring an Apache/Mohawk/SB-10 station.  The Apache is an 
early model with the 6AL5 bias rectifier.  Someone has replaced the 6AL5 
with diodes.
Wishing to keep things original, is there any good reason not to put the 
6AL5 back?  Also some time back someone had replacement paper labels for 
these
units.  Would to get a set.  73.
