I forgot to tell you the current price (and this is for stainless - not zinc
plated steel)

6-32 x 1/4" at $2.93 per Pack of 100
6-32 x 5/16" at $3.06 per Pack of 100
(I have not found a cheaper price for stainless)

ALSO, regarding the 6-32 nuts. You will notice that Heath frequently used
the smaller width for these nuts (available in 1/4" and 5/16" hex width) --
likely so that a 1/4 hollow nut wrench could be used on both the 6-32 and
4-40 nuts (which comes in 3/16" and 1/4" width nuts) for a beginning kit
builder.

Hex with a tooth washer is also a nice alternative -- so you don't loose the
separate lockwashers !
