The AR-3...

I had an original AR-3.  It was actually quite unstable and used to jump 
around 300 to 500 Hz (or more) when receiving
CW.

The Q-multiplier is a must if you are going to try to use this radio for ham 
radio work. Probably, I should have left it on all the time to stabilize the 
bfo -- I did not know about those type of things at the time.

More of a nostalgia rig than anything else.
