Schematic SM2200 Frequency Counter

Dug up a Heathkit SM2200 frequency counter that I would like to checkout and get working (if not, already working). 

Can't find a schematic or theory of operation - tried BAMA, google search,  and more. No luck. Anyone have a lead on the information?  Thanks.
