Larry,
Your previous message did make it to the list. And probably, for a lot of us,
left us thinking '...boy, is that a familiar dilemma...' - big old TV, big ol'
picture tube --- what the heck do we do with it. The answer is, unfortunately,
you will probably have to recycle it. Hardy anyone wants the darn things. Even
the recycling/dumping can be a bit of problem as most dumps won't take them. A
friend who lives in the wilds of Alabama is pondering what the heck to do with
his old Heathkit - he says he can break up the cabinet and chassis and put that
in the dumpster but is still trying to figure out what the heck to do with the
picture tube.
I certainly hope you do find someone local (you might let us know where you are
located) and I would certainly suggest you try a local ad on Craigslist or one
of the recycle sites. Best of luck - we've all been there (and have the scars
to prove it!).

Subject: [HEATH-TEMPE] Bell & Howell (heathkit) TV
I don't know if my previous message was propigated to the list.
I have a couple 25" Heathkit TV's as used by Bell and Howell schools in the mid
seventies in a mail order TV repair course.
Is there any interest or are they dump fodder. They were working when removed
and have manuals.
