Hi Dick

I am slightly puzzled by your results. When I connected my SB-610 Monitor
to my SB101 all I had to do was retune the IF anode circuit to compensate
for the extra capacitive load and the receiver returned to its original
output level as long as the coax connection was left in place. What value signal
coupling capacitor did you use? I recall that I used a 10pF or similar low
value.

The screen resistor change to 10K does reduce the IF tube dissipation a bit
and it also makes a slight improvement to the AGC characteristics since
the 6AU6 is a sharp cutoff tube and not really intended for AGC operation.
