Heath Items For Sale -
Station Console, Digital Frequency Display, Transistor
Tester, Vintage SWR Bridge, Scanner, HF Amplifier, 2 m
Amplifier, VHF Wattmeters, Phone Patch, original
manuals, and other miscellaneous items:
Heath SB-630 Station Console:
This unit includes an SWR bridge, phone patch, station ID
timer (both visual and auditory), and digital mechanical
clock. Its styling is such to match the SB-100/101/102
transceivers, and the SB-300/301/303 and SB-400/401 combos.
This particular unit has a WORKING original digital
mechanical clock. Most of these have had the clock quit,
but this one works.
This unit works. The ID buzzer buzzes, the ID light lights,
etc. Cosmetically, it is very nice. It has one very minor
addition, and that is a momentary switch to stop the clock,
so one can get it set just exactly right.
Paper work included for $95 plus shipping from Florida.
Heath SB-650 Frequency Display:
This unit is made to go with most of the SB line to
give digital frequency readout to those rigs that had
only analog dials.
This one lights up, but I have no rig to test it on, so
it is being sold "as is" -- something I do not normally do.
Cosmetically, it looks fine.
With paper work for $75.
Heath IT-18 Transistor Tester:
The IT-18 is both an in-circuit and out-of-circuit
transistor tester. It will test transistors and
diodes, and also test for leakage, plus confirming
PNP or NPN types. The beta of the transistor can
be read on a large 5 inch meter. It is powered by
a single 1.5 volt "D" cell.
This particular unit works fine. Cosmetically it is
great. It is in its black plastic protective case
which is also in good condition. The only problem
is that the battery holder is not perfect, but works
satisfactorily. Test leads are included.
Paper work is included for $30.
Heath AM-2 HF SWR Bridge:
This HF SWR Bridge matches the DX-40, although it can be
used with any HF transmitter. It is about 8 inches wide
and 4.5 inches high, with the meter in the middle, and a
gray colored knob at each side near the bottom. It covers
160 thru 2 meters and will handle full power.
This particular unit works fine and is in very good shape.
Paper work is included for $25.
Heath HM-2141 Dual Meter VHF PEP Wattmeter / SWR Bridge:
The HM-2141 is the VHF version of the more popular
HM-2140 wattmeter and SWR Bridge, and has the same
features, except it covers from 50 to 175 MHz.
This is the wattmeter that has two meters on it, so it
reads both forward and reflected power at the same time.
It also has a "Peak" position, so it can capture the peak
power, in essence reading PEP output. Forward scales
are 30 or 300 Watts, and reverse are 10 W or 100 W,
plus SWR scale. It covers 50 to 175 MHz, and also has
a battery test position (9 volt battery needed for "peak"
operation). It has a remote sensor with about 3 feet
of cable.
This particular meter works 100%. The outer case (top
and sides) has been repainted black hammertone, and looks
very nice.
With paper work for $90.
Heath HM-2102 VHF Wattmeter /SWR Bridge:
Heath HM-2102 VHF wattmeter, covering 50 to 160 MHz.
Similar to the HM-102, but for VHF frequencies, with
250 and 25 watt scales. It can also be used to check SWR,
and has a remote sensor that can either be left inside
the meter, or separated from the actual meter by about
3 feet. SO-239 connectors in and out.
This particular meter works great, looks great, and
includes paper work for $45.
Heath HD-15 phone patch / digital interface:
This unit can be used to interface a sound card in a
PC to your transceiver. It was originally designed to
be used as a phone patch, but many have converted them
to a digital interface.
This is the unit with the VU meter on the left and 3 knobs
that match the SB series to the middle and right. Low or
high Z output to the transmitter. The meter makes it great
for setting levels.
This one is all original. It is in great condition.
Paper work included for $22.
I also have parts from a Heath HD-15 phone patch available.
Outer cover and knobs are gone. What do you need?
Heath Parts:
Gray carry handle
This handle is the same medium dark gray as the knobs
above. It would have been used on things such as signal
generators, and other test equipment, and maybe other
things as well. It is 4 1/2 inches long with a single
screw in each end for mounting; the screws are included.
$5
Heath HM-102/HM-2102 Wattmeter Parts:
Outer clam shell cabinet (left and right sides plus top)
that fits either of these wattmeters. This one is in
extremely nice condition, with no scratches or blemishes.
$12
Front panel and bottom of HM-2102 VHF Wattmeter
Great condition with no blemishes, and very nice crisp
lettering. $12
Reflectometer Assembly for HM-2102 VHF Wattmeter
This is the complete reflectometer assembly, including
the aluminum case, and the cable. $15
I have many Heath SB-630 Station Console parts available.
Most of the internal parts are available, but no clock.
Front panel and outer case are gone, but reflectometer
assembly, switches, etc. are still available.
Please let me know what you need.
I also have parts from a Heath HD-15 phone patch available.
What do you need?
Radio Shack PRO 2051 Trunking Scanner:
This scanner will do it all! It has 1000 memories, and
covers from 25 MHz thru 1300 MHz, and includes "Signal
Stalker" and triple trunking. It can also function as
a weather radio with full alerting capabilities. There
are more scanning and searching facilities than one can
imagine! Of course it covers the 6 meter, 2 meter, 220
MHz, and 440 MHz ham bands, but it does so much more.
This particular radio is in its original box. It appears
that it was not used, but that the manual was examined.
I have tested it and everything seems to work perfectly,
although it has so many features I was not able to test
everything. This is a terrific immaculate scanner!
With paper work for only $125.
Amp Supply LK-550 Z A, HF Amplifier:
The LK-500 is an HF amp that runs a pair of 3-500 tubes, on
the 160 thru 10 meter bands, producing close to the legal
limit. On this amp, 30 watts of drive produces about 400
watts out of the amp; 50 watts gives about 650 Watts out;
etc.
For all practical purposes, this is a copy of the Heath SB-220.
The difference is that this amp has a MUCH heavier duty Peter
Dahl power transformer, and covers 160 meters. It has a
better tuned input matching circuit. It is a much superior
amplifier.
This particular amp works very well. It has a manual step
start circuit added, and the electrolytic capacitors have
been replaced. Cosmetically it looks very, very nice. I
can not find a scratch on it. It looks like new.
Since this is heavy, I would much prefer pickup in the
Ocala, FL area.
With paper work for $900.
Mirage B-108 Amplifier for 2 meters:
The B-108 amplifier is designed to produce 80 watts
of output power when driven with 10 watts. This
particular amplifier does that. In addition, 2 watts
input will give 35 watts out, so it can be used with
an HT.
A preamp is also included, which may be switched on
or off separately from the amplifier portion. Also
included is a mode switch for SSB or FM.
This amp works 100% and looks extremely nice.
With Paper work for $95.
"Wall Wart" Power Supplies:
All of these are "regular" wall warts - not the new
switching type that create all sort of noise in your
receiver. Use one of these, and leave the noise behind.
Heathkit "Converter / Charger"
9 Volts DC at 100 ma.
No Heath number on this, and I don't know what it was used
on originally. It can be used either as a 9 Volt DC "power
pack" or as a charger. It has a 2.5 mm male plug on it, with
the tip positive, so it can be used on many devices. $10
9 Volt DC at 500 ma
This one was used on a MFJ 422 keyer, but will also power
other items needing 9 V DC at low current. It has a
2.5 mm male plug on it, tip positive. $12
AEA AC-1
This unit supplies 12 V DC at up to 1 amp.
It has a 2.1 mm coaxial power plug, with the center
positive, so it can be used on many different things
that require about 12 V DC at up to an amp. $14
Reference Data for Radio Engineers:
This book published by Sams / ITT is somewhat similar
to an ARRL Handbook, but in much more depth and detail,
since it is designed for engineers.
This book covers the fields of research, development,
production, operation and education for radio engineers.
It is loaded with tables and charts necessary in
communications. Excellent resource book when looking for
data, from the acoustic spectrum to radio wave propagation.
This one is the Sixth Edition printed in 1978, but the
basic information has not changed much.
This one is hardback, and it is in excellent condition,
close to new. The cover does not even appear to be worn.
This exact book in this condition is selling on Amazon
from between $123 and $338.
Buy this one for only $80 plus shipping from Florida.
Astron RS-35 A, 35 amp power supply:
Very heavy duty 13 V DC power supply ideal for
powering HF rigs, with reserve for your 2 meter
and other gear.
This one works very well. It sets at 13.8 Volts DC with
no load, or with a load. Very well regulated.
It looks close to new, with no scratches, dents,
or dings. $100

These are original manuals only, for Heath equipment.
They are in very nice condition. Schematic is in the book.
