[Heath] HL-2200 amp problem

Does the diode forward/reverse ok??
I don't know what the likelihood of a diode's conductivity 
characteristics being ok...yest still be shot. Perhaps someone else on
the list can comment.
There are a few on ebay, but too pricey.
I'll bet there are HUNDREDS in ham's parts bins.
If you determine that is truly the culprit...I would put a few 
"wanted's" out, here and on the homebrew section
of eham.net
