[Heath] SB-634 Question

Part of recent acquisition was a nice SB-634 Station Console.

 

The clock works fine but the timer is iffy at best.  It won't reset to zero,
the display goes from numeric to alpha, and beeps out of cycle.  Anyone
dealt with the problem before?
