Hmm, then the PR I found *should not* apply.  The bug was fixed in
5.5R3, 5.6R1 and 5.7R1.  Despite that, given the similarity, I'll
explain the bug I found...

It relates to a problem when PPMD is restarted.  Basically, OSPF was not
rebuilding the adjacency information correctly for PPMD so the
neighbours of that box were being lost.

I'd follow up the JTAC route because I couldn't find anything else that
seemed relevant that applies to the version of JUNOS you're running.
Start by pointing them to PR/30552.  It may not be the actual problem
but it is certainly (superficially at least) quite similar.
