nobody is ignoring the voice of consultants; it is just a matter of
priorisation; with an infinite number of resources we could
theoretically pick up every good idea and get it implemented;

however sometimes business reasons i.e. finite resources dicate
that you have to make a call - every sucessful vendor
does the priorisation based on commercial terms;

i'd reckown that the service providers who survived the last 2-3 years
have a healthy business model and therefore are not likely to go
bankrupt anytime soon; in addition i can assure you that our
account and support teams are very well connected to the people
who work, live (and sometimes sleep ;-) ) with the gear.

agreed, nobody was questioning wether your ideas make sense;
