I remember the old days when all the major carriers had some “unofficial” presence on NANOG and the like, but it seems like those days are done and the netheads lost to the bellheads at VZ and we’ve got interns running the network or something.

How does the entity that used to be Alternet leak private IPs into their production network not once but twice and each time take weeks/months to fix it?
