I have just booted an SE800 chassis with a new (used) XCRP4 processor
and I'm seeing an alarm for the XCRP Compact Flash:
[local]redback#show diag pod card 7 detail
Slot Type POD Status
(Enabled)
---- -------------------------------- ----------------------
7 xcrp4-base FAIL
Env Type/Loop Test Name String
BCMSFW POD 1 BCM lower short DRAM PASS
BCMSFW POD 1 Triton Download PASS
BCMSFW POD 1 ID EEPROM PASS
BCMSFW POD 1 Chassis MAC Address PASS
BCMSFW POD 1 SMM665 Display PASS
BCMSFW POD 1 ADT7461 Display PASS
BCMSFW POD 1 Compact Flash Access FAIL
Test Failure Details:
BCMSFW POD 1 Compact Flash Access : Compact Flash ATA command error
: CF-X error 0xfffff2df following ata cmd 145 2013/09/12 17:42:08
I'm not on site so I asked remote hands to pull out the XCRP4 to re-seat
the internal compact flash, but they tell me it doesn't have one
installed, which confuses me as 'show disk' showed an internal card:
#show disk
Location 512-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted on
Internal 1940606 452352 1391224 24% /
External 1021244 182120 788062 18% /md
Is the Internal disk something else, or are the onsite engineers looking
at the wrong thing?
Thanks.
Ray.
