Just heard about a CLEC that was able to establish a new ICA for the 4 regions and opt out of the 911 requirement! So it sounds like everyone should be able to amend their ICA to add that provision. Definitely talk to your attorney!

Does anyone know of any CLECs who’ve been able to get out of the requirement to install 911 trunks with AT&T since AT&T lost the lawsuit on that issue?
