[cisco-voip] IPCC Express

Search the registry on the IPCC server for the LDAP IP address. We had
this issue after changing IP's on IPCC and I believe that I fixed it
manually by editing the registry on the server. It should be fairly
obvious if you search the registry for the exact IP address.

Hi Ed,

Thanks for your help!

An uninstall/reinstall still has the same outcome. The postinstall.exe
file, is this on the CRS server or on the client? Its looking very much
like its a server related configuration thats cause the failure of new
and old CDA installations.

Cheers,

Johnny

Johnny,

Something to try:
I'm on CRS 5 but I think its the same in 4..

On your CRS server(s), look in C:\Program Files\Cisco\Desktop\bin\, for
PostInstall.exe. This sets various IP Addresses and so forth for CAD and
CSD installations.. it may need to be corrected. uninstall/reinstall
CAD. See if that helps.

I think they need to be the IP Addr of your CRS server.. can't remember
from version 4 though.

	Hi all,

	IPCC Express 4.x

The problem is that the customer has changed their IP address
through the Cisco procedure that was provided to them, however

When they download the CDA and install it, the LDAP Host 1 in
the registry is showing the old IP address. Which means they cannot log
in..

If you attempt to change the LDAP Host 1 IP once installed the
CDA automatically changes it once it connects to the server (I assume
that is downloads the new registry word?)

Unless I'm not understanding by what the customer is saying, but
from my knowledge the LDAP Host 1 should be pointing to the CCM DC
Directory (DCD has been confirmed).

I've managed to put a bandaid on by changing the LDAP Host 2 to
point to the new IPCC Express IP Address, this works fine.

I guess my underlying question is:

Where does the LDAP Host 1 IP address come from when starting up
the CDA?

	Thanks for all the help!

	Johnny
