[cisco-voip] CME, CUE, and autoattendants

There are a couple of different ways to accomplish this, here's one way
below although I'm sure others on the forum have more efficient ways to
do this.
 
You first want to create an ephone-dn in CME that forwards all calls to
vm, like this.
 
ephone-dn {number}
number 22...  (where '2' is any prefix digit that you can use to
designate transfer directly to vm and the '2...' is a wildcard to match
your internal dialplan length assuming in this case it's four-digit
dialplan with first digit being 2)
call-forward all {voicemail pilot extension}
 
Then in your cme aa parameters define a menu option that will match the
receptionists voicemail extension.  In this case, when the caller
presses '2' the call will be transferred to the receptionists voicemail.
 
 param aa-hunt2 22000  (uses 2000 as the receptionists voicemail
extension in this example)
 
 
Lastly in CUE, pull up the receptionists "user" account and in the e164
number field, input 22000 (or the prefix number assigned under the new
ephone-dn above + the users extension).
 
Also, in the aa service parameteres you could also define the following
to route the calls to the same voicemail box as final hop.
 
param voice-mail 22000
 
Finally, reload both of the aa application services.

I've got CME 4.3 running on a 2801 with the CUE 3.1 AIM. I've got the
default AA working OK, but the guys out there want something different,
so I get to dive into script development.  I'm fine with this.

One of the things I'm having problems with is giving the caller the
option of leaving VM for the receptionist when the receiptionist's CFNA
is the AA.  What I have now is:

Caller dials the main rotary number, which has "connection plar opx 200"
on the voice ports (FXO).  It rings the receptionist's phone, if she
doesn't answer, the CFNA sends the call to x221 which is a dial-peer
pointing to the CUE with the AA.  If the caller zeros out to the
operator, it goes to extension 200 and begins the cycle again.

I need to fix that last part so that if the caller zeroes out and the
receptionist doesn't answer, it goes to her voicemail.

I'm at a bit of a loss on how to do this. The best I can figure out so
far is to give the receiptionist a second extension, which seems like a
hack.

Any suggestions?
