MWI Overview

The MWI operation provides users who are registered with Cisco CallManager Express or CallManager with a visual indication that there are new voice-mail messages present. MWI does not work when you have Cisco Unity Express integrated with Cisco CallManager and the system is in Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST) mode because of a WAN outage.
